A Song of Fan and Fiction is a podfic project created for those who are visually impaired, those who struggle to read, or those who want to consume fanfiction in this format. All fanfics that are released through ASOFAF have the permission from the author to be recorded and published.

On AO3, when a writer no longer wants a fic to be associated with them, instead of flat out deleting the story, they have the option to abandon it. Archive of Our Own calls these stories "orphans", and has set up the orphan_account. The ownership of all abandoned fics gets transfered to this account. It acts like any other user. By orphaning works instead of deleting them off the archive, authors still allow fans to enjoy their works. My (15F) Sister (18F) Is Dating A Dog, in which No One takes to the internet to complain about her older sister's new boyfriend, is one such story.
